Keeping Çanakkale’s historical and cultural legacy alive

Cherishing Çanakkale’s history and traditions, Kale Group launched the Sons of Gallipoli project together with numerous other projects to eternally remember the sacrifices made for these lands. 

Sons of Gallipoli Interactive Documentary

On the occasion of the centennial of the Gallipoli Campaign, Kale Group launched a digital interactive documentary to commemorate the heroes lost in Çanakkale and honour their memories forever.

The documentary narrated 100 years after the Gallipoli Campaign from the eyes of two mothers, a Turk and an Anzac, the documentary stands out with its captivating story, moving narration and comprehensive archival research. Produced from a global perspective by an international team, the documentary features 11 episodes, 300 archive documents and 38 interactive battlefield maps.

Sons of Gallipoli Interactive Exhibition

Kale Group set up the Sons of Gallipoli Interactive Exhibition in Iskele Meydanı, Çanakkale to transform the Sons of Gallipoli Interactive Documentary into a permanent exhibition. Opening its doors on 18 March 2016, the exhibition features cutting-edge technologies and museum techniques that create an active experience inviting visitors to “touch, see, listen, feel” the exhibition.

Displaying the Gallipoli Campaign from all aspects, more than one million people have visited the exhibition to date. Visitors can listen to the accounts of veterans from their own voice recordings, immerse themselves into the last days at the front using state-of-the-art communication media and view more than 500 interesting objects in exclusively designed hologram form.

The exhibition, which is free-of-charge, goes far beyond than merely telling the history of the Gallipoli Campaign. Offering a unique experience to visitors, it tells the human stories, the life on the home front and the daily life of soldiers who went back to their countries after the war ended.

The Sons of Gallipoli Interactive Exhibition has received several prestigious awards including the Felis and Crystal Apple awards.


Ad Campaigns

Kale Group launched a series of ad campaigns on the anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaign to remember the sacrifices made for these lands and honour Çanakkale’s historical legacy.

The ad campaigns built around the theme “be impassable” reminded everyone once again that these lands are impassable.
