Embarking on our production journey in 1957 with ceramics, we continue on this path with our added-value investments, innovative products and global partnerships, all the while cherishing our roots. Our journey that started with ceramics from land now continues with our investments in defence and aerospace in the sky. Upholding the values of our founder Dr. (h.c.) İbrahim Bodur, today we operate in the building materials, building chemicals, defence and aerospace industries to achieve Turkey’s development through industrialisation, develop local production and create a sustainable future.
We aim to bring new meanings to living spaces in the building industry, an industry where we stand out with our design competencies, many firsts and numerous products synonymous with Kale. We continue to build on our roots in the building materials industry where we rank as Europe’s fourth and the world’s 15th largest producer. As the leading building chemicals producer in Turkey and our region alike, we always strive to reach higher.
As a fine example of our innovation culture, building on our R&D capabilities, the products that we design and produce in the defence and aerospace industry as well as our partnerships with stakeholders demonstrate our presence in global projects. While we produce products designed nationally and locally, on the other hand, we take part in global projects through our partnerships with some of the world’s biggest defence and aerospace companies.
In our continued efforts to develop Turkey through production, to ensure sustainable success and corporate continuity we keep abreast of the rapidly changing competition landscape in the 21st century. With a primary focus on digital transformation, we invest in new technologies and build agile and flexible organisations, always putting people at the heart of everything we do. We value individual development just as much as corporate development. To this end, we invest in our most valuable resource – people.
All the while, we believe that we need inclusive growth more than ever to increase prosperity for everyone in the world. In line with our understanding of responsible and responsive leadership, we believe in not only production and growth but also development by sharing the values we create with society. Dr. (h.c.) Ibrahim Bodur’s greatest legacy to us is to add value to the lands where one is born and bred instead of living just one’s self. It is our priority to cherish this legacy.
Along these lines, we strive to create new success stories for the future of Turkey, deliver original products and services, engage in creative and inspiring activities and encourage people who have a keen interest in all these. As for our economic investments, we prioritise this very same understanding for our social investments.
We, as Kale Group, will continue to produce, be pioneer, bring new meanings to living spaces and take ownership of our traditions, future, each other and our country. We will further advance these values that make us who we are – Turkey’s Castle.
