Rana Birden

Born in 1975, Rana Birden completed her undergraduate degree in international relations in 1995 and completed the European Union Master's Programme in 2005 at Galatasaray University.

Between 1999 and 2012, Birden worked as a Senior Research Associate at the Economic Development Foundation, Assistant Project Coordinator for the European Union's Civil Society Development Programme, Coordinator of the EU Research and Documentation Centre at Bahçeşehir University, and Director of the Social Participation and Development Foundation, respectively. Birden also served as a consultant for various foundations and associations including the Sabancı Foundation, Third Sector Foundation, and Charles Stewart Mott. From 2012 to 2014, Birden worked as the Executive Director of the Global Relations Forum and, from 2014 to 2016, member of the Turkey Europe Foundation's Executive Committee and the C20 Steering Committee. Birden joined Kale Group in July 2016.
