Kaleseramik

Kaleseramik was founded in 1957 in Çanakkale under the name Çanakkale Ceramic Factories as Turkey’s first-ever ceramics factory. 

Turkey’s first ceramic tiles manufacturer Kalebodur Ceramics Industry was founded in 1972. Positioned as the industry leader, Çanakkale Seramik has become an eponym for ceramic tiles in Turkey. Çanakkale Ceramic Factories and Kalebodur Ceramics Industry merged in 2000 to become Kaleseramik Çanakkale Kalebodur Ceramics Industry.

Comprised of 22 factories in total, Kaleseramik is the world’s biggest ceramics company having its manufacturing facilities in a single location with an annual production capacity of 64.5 million square metres. Exporting ceramics from Turkey for the first time ever in 1962, today Kaleseramik has 400 points of sales in more than 70 countries across the globe.

Bringing new meanings to living spaces, Kaleseramik offers a wide range of products that come in different sizes and shapes, from floor tiles to wall tiles, sanitary ware and porcelain kitchen countertops under its brands Çanakkale Seramik, Kalebodur, Kale Bathroom, Edilcuoghi&Edilgres, Kalesinterflex and T-One by Kale.

Kale Group values innovation just as much as design in every industry where it operates.  To this end, merging its R&D operations in the building industry under a single organisation Kale Group launched its R&D Centre in 2015. Created to conduct research on new product materials and build partnerships with universities, research centres as well as national and international platforms, Kale’s R&D Centre designs creative products that offer high added-value to meet market expectations and consumer demands.
